		<description>Interesting.  I had no idea it was possible to open jpegs in ACR, so I checked it out. 

I haven't processed an image this way yet and I had to find out how to do it.

This is how to open jpegs in ACR in Photoshop CS3:

Photoshop &#62; Preferences &#62; File Handling, and check where it says "Prefer Adobe Camera Raw for JPEG files"</description>

		<description>I also have a P5100 and I've discovered ISO performance all the way up to 2000 is more acceptable that I expected. If you use CS3 or Elements 6 to open your JPEGs as RAW files then you can use ACR in Photoshop to remove the extra color noise ... which makes the ISO noise look less digital and more like film grain.</description>
