I was out shooting with a wide-angle lens on my D200 and saw these - my heart sank thinking I had nothing to reach anywhere near them, when I remembered the P5100 in my bag.

Nikon make a zoom attachment but I have not seen one nor seen any reviews. Sorry I can’t help more.

If you do get one, let me know how you get on with it.

Interesting. I had no idea it was possible to open jpegs in ACR, so I checked it out.

I haven’t processed an image this way yet and I had to find out how to do it.

This is how to open jpegs in ACR in Photoshop CS3:

Photoshop > Preferences > File Handling, and check where it says “Prefer Adobe Camera Raw for JPEG files”
